IT之家 10/5 news: OpenAI's head of core products and platform, Thibault Sottiaux, posted on X today, revealing that the team will keep pushing forward with improvements related to Codex and ChatGPT Work over the next 28 days.
He said that OpenAI will release one feature update per day that is “clearly better and practically meaningful for most Codex / Work users,” or else provide a “reset.”
Based on his posting time, this cycle is expected to run from at least 10/5 to 11/2. However, Sottiaux did not explain how the reset would be carried out, nor did he confirm which users or quotas the "reset" would cover. IT之家 will continue to follow up.
The day before, Sottiaux also said that the team has “locked in its direction,” and that current work is mainly focused on simplifying the product, improving usage efficiency to support more usage, launching breakthrough features, and developing new models.
He also mentioned that while technical investment is sometimes needed in advance, user feedback has made it clear that people want the relevant products to become simpler, and the team is making adjustments accordingly.
