IT之家 News on 10/6: The tech media MacRumors published a blog post yesterday (10/5), and by digging through the code of the tvOS 27.2 Beta 3 update, found new clues, indicating that Apple's Apple TV 4K (fourth generation)will support Siri AI and Apple Intelligence.
The code shows that the system Settings app adds an "Improve Siri & Apple Intelligence" toggle, allowing users to authorize Apple to collect text and audio interaction data from their use of Siri, dictation, and translation features, to be used to improve foundation models.
This privacy disclosure text is consistent with other Apple devices that support Apple Intelligence. Devices that do not support the feature only show an "Improve Siri & Dictation" option.
Citing the blog post, IT之家 reports that tvOS 27.2 also introduces a brand-new Siri Messages UI framework, suggesting that future Apple TVs may display message content. Siri may be able to read messages sent to a linked iPhone and offer smart reply options on the TV screen. Currently, Siri on Apple TV does not support sending, receiving, or reading messages, and this framework is likely dedicated to Siri AI features.

On the hardware side, Apple is developing an Apple TV version equipped with 8GB or 12GB of memory and powered by an A19 or A19 Pro chip. Such a configuration would be sufficient to support on-device Siri AI features.
Multiple reports indicate the new Apple TV could be released as early as 10/13. The update pace of this system beta corroborates the hardware leak information, showing that Apple is accelerating the expansion of Apple Intelligence into the living room scenario.
