IT Home On October 10, an AI company called Sierra announced locally that it has jointly launched the Personal Agent Protocol (PAP) with Meta, as well as industry partners such as Shopify, Stripe, Walmart, Genesys, Instinct, and Rocket.

PAP aims to standardize the interaction between personal agents and enterprise services, creating a more efficient and secure environment for interactions with agents. In this process, consumers can ensure that their interests are protected, while brands gain visibility and control.
The protocol is based on mature standards such as OAuth; the operating principle is the consumer decides what access rights to their personal agent they grant, and the enterprise sets the parameters for the actions that these agents can perform.
