IT Home News on October 12: at this year's September 7 HarmonyOS 7 | HUAWEI Mate XT 2 and all-scenario new product launch event, theHarmonyOS 7 operating system was officially released.
According to the introduction, the HarmonyOS 7 system features the Harmony Intelligence intelligent architecture, supporting the system-level agent Xiaoyi, which seamlessly integrates a four-layer memory architecture, app Skills, cloud/on-device large models, and multi-device collaboration.
Notably, at the launch event, Huawei also previewed a brand-new feature — the Xiaoyi AI Shortcut Bar. According to the official PPT slide, once this feature is enabled, Xiaoyi will permanently reside in the Dock bar at the bottom of the phone's home screen.
Regarding the feature's launch time, officials had previously not announced it. IT之家 learned today from Huawei customer service that the Xiaoyi AI Shortcut Bar is a new feature of HarmonyOS 7,It is expected to gradually meet everyone by the end of October (month 10), at which point it will be pushed in batches according to device model.
