Doubao Work, the office and productivity tool under ByteDance, today officially announced the launch of a brand-new data import and sync feature. The introduction of this feature greatly lowers the barrier for users to switch between different AI products, supporting one-click seamless migration of existing conversations, skills, and personal preference memories into the Doubao Work ecosystem.
In terms of specific migration support and operations, users can one-click import core assets such as task preference instructions, custom skills, connectors, working memory, specific projects, and historical sessions. The feature is fully compatible with data from mainstream AI products including ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Trae Work. After the data is imported, the system automatically archives it in the corresponding feature entries and lists, and historical sessions fully retain their original context, allowing users to continue conversations directly without having to re-explain the background or rebuild configurations.
In addition to the data migration feature, Doubao Work has made multiple detail optimizations to the daily interaction and information management experience. The new version supports initiating "Continue in a new conversation" directly on a specific message, with the system automatically extracting and carrying over the existing context while keeping the original conversation for easy reference at any time later. In addition, the interface has added a message annotation feature and a conversation summary sidebar, further improving information retrieval and in-depth management efficiency in office scenarios.
