IT Home October 14th live news: Horzalab announced today the “world’s first 8K ultra-high-definition AI space camera” – Kosmo One, which can transform the real world into high-quality 3D space models.

The Hikvision Kosmo One is equipped with a 1-inch CMOS, and can achieve a maximum shooting resolution of 8K, offering 360° coverage without any blind spots; it can reconstruct a 100m² real space in just 15 minutes, claiming that “high-quality spatial modeling is as simple as taking a photo”.

Hesai Kosmo One can transform the real world into robot training data, which is used for physical AI training of robots. It can also be applied in fields such as world models, film and television media, cultural tourism, and digital art.

Hesai also released Kosmo World, an AI-driven cloud platform that works with Kosmo One to enable one-stop 3D content creation and management.
At the launch event, IT Home learned that Hoxie Kosmo announced a partnership with Gaode Map. The first batch of thousands of pilot locations have been opened up, covering high-quality shopping malls, retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, and brand stores. The interiors of these stores will be fully scanned and reconstructed into high-precision 3D spatial models, rather than just traditional 2D plans.
