IT Home reported on October 26 that Kimi smart assistant posted an article early this morning, apologizing for the recent usage issues of the K3.1 Pro and announcing related compensation. The official text from IT Home is as follows:
To Users: Apology and Compensation for Recent Usage Experience Issues
For Kimi users
We apologize to all users of Kimi members who experienced throttling and unnecessary quota consumption when using K3.1 Pro recently. The issue was caused by us, and we should have fixed it earlier.
Today, we will reset the subscriptions for all tiers: all valid members will receive 25% of the monthly total as compensation, equivalent to a week’s usage. If the current usage is less than 25% of the monthly total, it will be reset to 0. The usage progress bar will show the adjustment result before today ends.
At the same time, we have adjusted the configuration and are reducing unnecessary sub-Agent calls and output lengths, enabling the same quota to complete more actual tasks.
Thank you for your understanding and patience.
