On October 26, Jimeng AI launched a brand-new feature, “Short Drama Studio.” As a one-stop AI tool that Jimeng has introduced for short drama creation scenarios, “Short Drama Studio” integrates the entire workflow—script organization, character and scene management, storyboard generation, video production, and post-production adjustments—into a single platform, so creators no longer need to switch back and forth between multiple platforms.

“Short Drama Studio” is equipped with DreamScript, Jimeng’s first professional script model, trained and optimized for short drama creation scenarios and covering the full pipeline from script generation to diagnosis. After an existing script is uploaded, the Script Doctor feature can automatically diagnose the main storyline of the first 3 episodes, checking whether the protagonist’s identity and core conflict are clear; the Dialogue Checkup feature can diagnose the adaptation line by line against character profiles. The product supports uploads of long texts of up to 100,000 characters and continuous generation of up to 100 episodes.
After a script is uploaded, “Short Drama Studio” can automatically parse the entire production’s assets; major and minor characters, scenes, props, and even voice timbres and costumes can all be precisely identified and automatically bound to the asset library. The canvas and the storyboard share the same set of assets, enabling one-click access, and historical versions can be traced back. A single modification syncs globally, and when producing series content later, confirmed characters, scenes, and story settings can be directly reused.
To address the scenario of constantly growing material during the creation process, the product has made deep performance optimizations to canvas interaction. Even when thousands of assets are stacked, movement remains responsive, zooming is smooth, box selection is crisp, and undo and redo run without lag. Real-world test data shows that in image scenarios, operation smoothness reaches more than ten times that of comparable products, and in video scenarios the smoothness advantage is even more pronounced.
