On October 27, news broke that Faraday Future announced that its FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem Inc. (Nasdaq ticker: FFR) had completed the merger transaction with FFAI Robotics on October 23.
The transaction marks the formal and complete injection of the related businesses and assets into FFR, while ordinary shares and non-voting convertible preferred shares were issued and delivered to FFAI as planned.
Along with the completion of the business merger, FFR simultaneously completed organizational restructuring of its governance and management. Among these changes, YT Jia was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jerry Wang was appointed Executive Chairman, Chen Shi was named Lead Independent Director, and Jason E. Dodier was appointed Independent Director. At this stage, both YT Jia and Jerry have voluntarily chosen not to increase their cash compensation for their new roles, in order to ensure that their long-term personal interests remain highly aligned with FFR and all of its shareholders.
This capital operation and organizational restructuring marks a further acceleration of Faraday Future's ecosystem layout in the AI and robotics track, and lays a solid governance foundation for its subsequent business deepening and market expansion in the field of intelligent robotics.
