After previously supporting cross-app operations and recording browser actions as skills, this update also supports saveing recorded computer operations as skills. According to the introduction, users can demonstrate the actions once and explain them while doing them, teaching the methods to DouBao. Once DouBao learns them, it is saved as a skill, allowing it to be done again later; even after the Mac screen locks, tasks can continue to proceed.
After the recording ends, DouBao will organize the operation process and explanation into personal skills. Next time when performing similar tasks, use this skill and tell it what to handle this time, which will eliminate the need for repeating the operation steps.
In addition, in “Settings → Work Mode Settings”, after enabling “Allow DouBao to work when the screen is locked”, tasks that require the computer to be operated can continue to be executed when the Mac is locked. Even if the person has left the computer, they can send tasks to the locked Mac via a phone and check the results on the phone. They can take over the control whenever they return to the computer after unlocking it.
According to IT Home, after multiple updates, DouBao Work now supports features such as one-click import of conversations and memories from ChatGPT, canvas operations, parallel operation of multiple agents, and Mac-compatible computing.
“Doubao Work” is a new Agent product and brand launched by Doubao for productivity scenarios. It allows users to autonomously break down tasks, call tools, and continuously advance complex work processes based on their goals.
