ITHome October 15 news:The American artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced yesterday the establishment of an office in Singaporeand signed a memorandum of understanding with Singapore's Ministry of Digital Development and Information.
ITHome learned from the official press release that Singapore is one of Anthropic's most active markets globally, with millions of people in Singapore as well as many businesses and government bodies already using Claude.The partners in this cooperation include the Government Technology Agency of Singapore、Grab and DBS Bank. As the local team continues to grow, Anthropic will use its powerful AI technology to help the aforementioned organizations stay ahead.
At the same time, Anthropic will work with Singapore to evaluate AI safety, cybersecurity and large model safety, promoting the responsible use of AI in government departments and the private sector.
According to Anthropic's newly released Economic Index, in the ranking of Claude.ai usage calculated by population size, Singapore ranks second among 121 countries/regions, with actual usage nearly 6 times the level predicted by population size.
