IT Home October 16 news: On October 15 local time, Amazon announced that its subsidiary Bee has launched two AI recording products: Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse, designed to help users record important daily conversations and trivial details, and distill them into to-do items, summaries and insights.

The company stated that privacy security is a red line it firmly upholds: for all Bee hardware, raw audio is not stored and can neither be retrieved nor shared; and each time recording starts, the system proactively prompts users to first obtain the consent of the other party on the call.
Once activated, Bee hardware integrates conversation context in real time with information from linked apps, intelligently producing deep insights and practical suggestions.
In addition, Bee supports seamless integration with everyday workflow tools, including Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. After a call or meeting ends, Bee can automatically distill an action list, draft follow-up emails, or generate calendar invites with one click based on what was discussed.
Beyond the hardware updates, Bee has also officially established ecosystem connections with Alexa+ and Amazon.com; once connected to Alexa+, users can retrieve conversation summaries, key insights and to-do lists through purely voice-based, hands-free interaction without taking out their phones.

Among the products, Bee Frontier is a personal AI device that can be worn on the wrist or clipped onto clothing, priced at $74.99 (IT Home note: approx. 502.9 RMB at current exchange rates).
Bee Frontier comes with an ultra-soft skin-friendly silicone wristband designed for all-day wear, available in three colors: Lavender, Sage and Onyx; it has an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, supports USB-C charging, and delivers up to 7 days of battery life per charge.
According to reports, the product features a built-in dual-microphone array with audio noise-reduction filtering technology that precisely filters ambient noise, recording only truly essential key content. Users can control when audio is captured and processed via a physical microphone button, and a prominent working indicator light makes the device's operating status clear at a glance.
In addition, users can set auto power-off rules for silence timeouts (such as silent environments of 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc.), letting the device automatically sleep and power off when no sound is detected.
Bee Eclipse offers users a more flexible form factor beyond wearables, attaching magnetically to the back of a phone. A single charge provides over 21 days of battery life, and it comes in four colors: Silver, Midnight, Honey and Blush, with a starting price of $99.99(approx. 670.6 RMB at current exchange rates).

Anyone who purchases any Bee hardware gets the basic core features at no extra cost, including intelligent conversation summaries, key-point recaps and a 14-day history memory library.
By upgrading to a Bee Prosubscription, users can also unlock a range of advanced benefits: unlimited summaries of recent conversations; deep integration with Amazon.com and Alexa+; seamless access to third-party ecosystem apps; smart to-do list recommendations; a daily memory map; a dedicated personal chat AI assistant; rich conversation customization templates; and Bee's exclusive desktop app.
Bee Pro costs $11.99 per month (approx. 80.4 RMB at current exchange rates); every new Bee hardware user receives a 30-day free trial.
