IT Home On October 17, according to reports, Meta announced on the local time of the 13th this month that it is providing AI-driven personalized recommendation tools for Facebook users, allowing users to manage personalized recommendation algorithms in a natural way.

“Your algorithm” feature allows users to add content preference tags using natural language. After a user selects whether the push content is “interesting” or “not interesting,” Facebook will ask a series of short follow-up questions to understand the specific reasons behind that choice, which is used for fine-tuning and improving the recommendation algorithm.
Meta states that LLMs can integrate the interests, context, and intentions behind natural language, thereby creating an algorithm that can truly be interacted with. The integration with AI enables Facebook’s recommendation algorithm to adapt more quickly and accurately to users’ personal preferences.
