IT Home October 19 news: According to a report today by Zhongzheng Wang, the 2026 AliExpress Annual Summit and Double 11 Merchant Conference was held today in Shenzhen, with over 15,000 merchants in attendance. At the conference, AliExpress and Tmall launched the "Chinese Brands Global Growth Plan," focusing on leading brands, new AI hardware brands, and high-quality factory brands.
AliExpress and Tmall will set up a dedicated service group to provide 7 major operational capability supports in areas including brand protection, marketing products, digital advertising, and consumer asset operations. For these enterprises that already have mature products and brand recognition, the platform offers not just an additional sales channel but a pathway connecting domestic operations to overseas markets. It is reported thatmore than ten brands including Midea, Haier, and TCL have already joined the plan, which aims to provide brand-new incremental growth for 500 leading brands.
As an important part of the plan, AliExpress is also investing funds in new AI hardware brands. The platform plans to make angel-round investments in outstanding AI hardware brands, accompanied by Brand+ and Tmall operational support, with the goal of supporting more than 100 brands. According to reports, this year AliExpress has continued to double down on the AI hardware track. Public data shows that from month 1 to month 7 of 2026, AliExpress's AI hardware category sales grew 100% year-on-year, making it the preferred platform for AI hardware going overseas.
For the larger number of high-quality factory brands, the two sides will provide one-stop managed services, aiming to help over 1,000 factory brands achieve doubled growth. This path emphasizes lowering the threshold for going overseas: factories are responsible for products and supply, while the platform takes on the complex parts of overseas operations.
At this summit, AliExpress also announced its development goals for the next three years:both the number of brands and brand GMV (gross merchandise value) growing 50% per year. To support growth, AliExpress will continue to invest in global fulfillment, localized traffic, brand marketing, compliance, and AI capabilities, and will use AI capabilities to expand into 66 new markets in Latin America, Southeast Asia, Africa, and other regions.

AliExpress's "Brand+ Brand Going-Global Plan" was launched in September 2025, officially said to provide diversified solutions for brands at half the cost of Amazon, with a 2026 goal of helping 2,000 Chinese brands double their overseas scale. According to IT Home's previous report, during the 2026 618 shopping festival, a total of 383 brands on AliExpress Brand+ outsold Amazon, with 72% achieving a doubling or even several-fold reversal, covering multiple high-average-ticket categories such as mobile phones, portable energy storage, consumer-grade 3D printing, and sports and outdoor.
In terms of channels and localization capabilities, as of month 8 of 2026, Brand+ had surpassed 50% penetration of brand sales in 11 countries including Germany, France, and Poland, with its EU market sales up 97% year-on-year. In month 9 of 2026, Brand+ also brought 9 going-global brands to the Berlin IFA exhibition for the first time, covering tracks such as AI cleaning, pool robots, electric mobility, 3D printing, mini PCs, AI drones, and AI glasses. On the going-overseas front for domestic brands, Lazada's previously launched "One-Click Easy Overseas Expansion" has already connected nearly 10,000 Tmall brands, and this "China Brands Global Growth Plan" is a further upgrade on that basis, emphasizing the synergy of "building brands domestically, selling brands overseas."
Announced alongside this summit was also the 2026 overseas Double 11 schedule: pre-heating begins on October 29, official sales run from November 1 to 18, and November 19 enters the Black Friday period, lasting until December 3; quality merchants can enjoy up to a 12% commission rebate incentive, and the platform's Code investment has increased 20% year-on-year. To support the promotion's fulfillment, AliExpress's official warehouses now cover 6 countries: Spain, France, Poland, Germany, the United States, and South Korea, with the German warehouse launched in September 2026; before the 2026 Double 11, the platform's overseas warehouse stocking scale grew 146% year-on-year, warehouse capacity expanded 2.5 times, and staffing increased 4 times. Among AI hardware going-overseas cases, Hangzhou "Six Little Dragons" company Rokid previously held the global debut of its new AR Spatial product on AliExpress, cleaning robot brand ILIFE held an offline experience event in Warsaw, Poland, and fellow brand Seauto completes over 90% of its European orders via AliExpress.
